Satush - Peer-to-Peer Food Sharing Platform

Satush is a peer-to-peer food sharing platform designed for office employees to:

• Share untouched, homemade meals brought to the workplace.
• Reduce food wastage.
• Provide access to home-style food within office premises.

• User: Any individual registered on the Satush App.
• Supplier: A User who lists homemade food for sharing or sale.
• Consumer: A User who requests food listed by a Supplier.
• Food Listing: Information posted by a Supplier describing available food.
• Handshake: Successful completion of food sharing validated via the app's validation code.
• Platform Provider / Developer: Appnovators, the software development company that built and maintains the Satush application.

To use Satush:

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• You must be legally capable of entering into a binding contract.
• You must be an employee or individual accessing food sharing within an office or workplace environment.

• Users must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
• Each user is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account.
• You are solely responsible for all activities under your account.
• Satush reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information or misuse the platform.

By listing food on Satush, the Supplier agrees that:

• The food is homemade and freshly prepared.
• The food is untouched and not partially consumed.
• The food has been prepared under reasonably hygienic conditions.
• The food is safe for consumption at the time of listing.
• Accurate details (food items, quantity, price if any, availability time, location) are provided.

Consumers agree that:

• They are voluntarily choosing to consume food prepared by another individual.
• They will review food details carefully before sending a request.
• They acknowledge that homemade food may contain allergens.
• They are responsible for confirming dietary restrictions, allergies, or preferences through chat.

• Consumers may send requests for available food listings.
• Suppliers may accept or reject requests at their discretion.
• Either party may cancel a request before validation.
• Repeated cancellations or misuse may result in account restrictions.

• Food exchange must occur only at mutually agreed office or nearby locations.
• Satush does not provide delivery services.
• Both users are responsible for personal safety during meetings.
• The Supplier must validate the exchange using the validation code provided in the app. Once validated, the transaction is considered complete.

• Satush may allow Suppliers to list food free or at a price.
• Any payment terms, if enabled, will be clearly displayed in the app.
• Satush is not responsible for disputes regarding pricing, refunds, or payment failures between users.

The in-app chat is provided only to facilitate food exchange. Users must not:

• Use abusive, offensive, or threatening language.
• Share misleading or false information.
• Attempt spam or solicitation unrelated to food sharing.

Satush may monitor chats solely for moderation and safety purposes.

• Consumers may leave reviews for food and Suppliers after validation.
• Reviews must be honest and respectful.
• Satush reserves the right to remove reviews that are abusive, misleading, or violate these Terms.

Satush is not liable for:

• Foodborne illnesses
• Allergic reactions
• Health issues arising from consumed food
• Disputes between users
• Loss, damage, or personal injury during meetups

Users agree to indemnify Satush against any claims arising from food sharing.

Users must not:

• List expired, spoiled, or unsafe food.
• Use the platform for commercial catering without authorization.
• Impersonate others.
• Misuse the app for illegal activities.
• Attempt to bypass app validation or security systems.

Satush reserves the right to:

• Suspend or terminate accounts without prior notice if Terms are violated.
• Remove listings that are misleading, unsafe, or reported by users.

• All app content, design, logos, and trademarks belong to Satush.
• Users may not copy, modify, or distribute any content without permission.

User data is handled in accordance with Satush's Privacy Policy. By using the App, you consent to the collection and use of information as described therein.

Satush may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes implies acceptance of updated Terms. The App reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to add, modify, or remove features and functionalities at any time based on service requirements or user usage patterns.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts located in India.

For questions, concerns, or support:

Appnovators is the technology development company that designed, built, and maintains the Satush application. Users expressly acknowledge and agree that:

• Appnovators acts solely as a technology service provider and has no role in, control over, or responsibility for any food transactions, food quality, food safety, or user interactions conducted through the Platform.
• Appnovators makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the fitness, merchantability, reliability, availability, or accuracy of the Platform or its features.
• Appnovators shall not be held liable for any losses, damages, claims, costs, or expenses of any nature arising from the use or inability to use the Platform.
• The total aggregate liability of Appnovators, if any, shall in no event exceed INR 1,000 (Indian Rupees One Thousand Only).
• Users agree not to initiate any legal proceedings against Appnovators in connection with any food sharing transactions or user conduct occurring on the Platform.

Appnovators and Satush provide the Platform on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We do not warrant that:

• The Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components.
• Any defects in the Platform will be corrected within any specified timeframe.
• The Platform will be compatible with all devices, operating systems, or third-party applications.
• Any data submitted to or stored on the Platform will be preserved, accurate, or available at all times.

You agree to fully indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Appnovators and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, affiliates, and assigns from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, penalties, fines, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with:

• Your use or misuse of the Platform.
• Any content, food listing, or data you submit through the Platform.
• Any food you share, sell, or consume through the Platform.
• Any violation of these Terms or applicable law.
• Any third-party claims arising from your actions or omissions on the Platform.
• Any food safety violations, allergic reactions, illness, injury, or death attributed to food shared through the Platform.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• Neither Satush nor Appnovators shall be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages, including loss of profit, data, goodwill, or business opportunities.
• Appnovators shall not be liable for any claims arising from user-generated content, food transactions, or interpersonal disputes between users.
• Any liability of Appnovators to any user shall be limited to the amount paid by the user, if any, for access to the Platform during the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

All software, source code, algorithms, architecture, databases, user interface design, APIs, and related technology underlying the Satush application are proprietary works of Appnovators. Users specifically agree that:

• No user or third party may reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, reproduce, or attempt to derive the source code of the Platform.
• No user may create derivative works, clones, or competing products based on the Platform's design, features, or functionality.
• All trademarks, logos, and brand names associated with Satush are the property of Appnovators and may not be used without prior written consent.
• Any feedback, suggestions, or feature requests submitted by users may be used by Appnovators at its sole discretion without any obligation of attribution, compensation, or confidentiality.

By using the Platform, users acknowledge that:

• Appnovators may collect, process, and store user data including device information, usage analytics, crash logs, and location data for purposes of improving the Platform.
• While Appnovators implements industry-standard security measures to protect user data, no system is completely secure.
• Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their own devices and login credentials.
• In the event of a data breach, Appnovators will notify affected users in accordance with applicable law.
• Appnovators may retain anonymised and aggregated usage data indefinitely for analytics, research, and product development purposes.

The Platform may integrate with or rely on third-party services, including payment gateways, mapping services, cloud hosting, and push notification providers. Users acknowledge that:

• Appnovators does not control and is not responsible for the performance, availability, or accuracy of any third-party services.
• Use of third-party services may be subject to those providers' own terms and privacy policies.
• Appnovators shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from third-party service failures, outages, or security breaches.
• Appnovators may change, replace, or discontinue third-party integrations at any time without notice.

Appnovators and Satush shall not be liable for any delay or failure in performance resulting from events beyond reasonable control, including:

• Natural disasters, pandemics, or public health emergencies.
• Government actions, regulations, or restrictions.
• Internet or telecommunications infrastructure failures.
• Cyberattacks, distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks, or security incidents.
• Acts of war, terrorism, or civil unrest.

• Any dispute shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation within 30 days of written notice.
• If negotiation fails, the dispute shall be referred to binding arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (India), with proceedings conducted in English in India.
• Users waive the right to participate in class action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration against Appnovators or Satush.
• Nothing in this section prevents Appnovators from seeking urgent injunctive or equitable relief to protect its intellectual property rights.

From time to time, Appnovators may offer beta, experimental, or preview features. Users who opt into such features acknowledge that:

• Beta features are provided without warranty of any kind and may be modified, discontinued, or removed at any time without notice.
• Appnovators shall not be liable for any data loss, errors, or disruptions arising from the use of beta features.
• Feedback provided during beta testing may be used by Appnovators to improve the Platform without any obligation to the user.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining Terms shall continue in full force and effect.

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any other policies published by Satush, constitute the entire agreement between you and Satush / Appnovators with respect to the use of the Platform.

In order to provide its full range of features, the App may request access to the following:

• Phone number and email address - for account creation, identity verification, and platform communication.
• One-Time Password (OTP) verification - sent via phone number or email to authenticate user identity.
• Device notifications - to deliver alerts related to food requests, listing updates, chat messages, and account activity.
• Location services - to determine current device location, enable pickup location features, and display nearby listings.
• Saved locations - including home or work address entered manually by the user.

The App may send push notifications, in-app alerts, and messages related to:

• Incoming or accepted food requests.
• Updates to active food listings.
• New chat messages from other users.
• Account activity, security alerts, or verification events.
• Platform announcements, feature updates, or policy changes.

To ensure account security, the App requires verification through One-Time Passwords (OTP). Users acknowledge and agree that:

• OTP codes are confidential and must not be shared with any other person or third party.
• Users are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their OTP codes and login credentials.
• Satush and Appnovators are not responsible for any unauthorised access resulting from a user sharing or failing to protect their OTP.
• Any activity carried out on an account following successful OTP verification shall be deemed authorised.
• Users must immediately notify Satush at hello@appnovators.com if they suspect their account has been compromised.

When a Supplier adds food on the Satush App, the following information is mandatory and must be accurate:

• Food images
• Food name
• Food description (optional but recommended)
• Serving quantity
• Pickup address
• Pickup date and time
• Allergy information
• Pricing details (if applicable)

Satush reserves the right to remove any listing that does not comply with these requirements.

• A maximum of five (5) images may be uploaded per food listing.
• Images must be clear and relevant to the listed food.
• Images must be free from misleading, obscene, or inappropriate content.
• Images may be uploaded using the device camera or the device gallery.

Satush does not verify the authenticity or accuracy of uploaded images.

• Food Name: Maximum length 30 characters. Must accurately represent the food being offered.
• Food Description: Maximum length 200 characters. Should include relevant details such as ingredients or preparation notes.

Suppliers are solely responsible for the correctness of food details.

• Default serving quantity is one (1).
• Maximum allowable quantity per listing is ten (10) servings.
• Suppliers must ensure the listed quantity is available and untouched.

• Location services must be enabled while adding a food listing.
• Suppliers may select their current device location, or a manually adjusted location within a 500-metre radius.
• Food pickup locations are restricted to a 500-metre circumference to ensure proximity and safety.

Satush is not responsible for inaccuracies in location data provided by users.

• Pickup time must be at least 15 minutes from the time of listing.
• Pickup time may be no later than 7 days from the time of listing.
• Suppliers are responsible for ensuring food remains safe for consumption until pickup.

Suppliers must disclose any known allergens. Available categories include:

• Gluten
• Dairy
• Nuts
• Shellfish
• Soy
• Eggs

If allergens are not listed, Suppliers must manually specify them under the "Other" option.

Suppliers may choose to offer food free of charge or at a price. If a Supplier charges for food, they confirm that:

• They hold a valid food-related license or authorization as required under Indian law (including FSSAI, if applicable).
• They are fully responsible for food quality, hygiene, legality, and compliance.

By adding food to the Satush App, the Supplier:

• Confirms the food is homemade, fresh, and untouched.
• Accepts full responsibility for the listed food.
• Agrees to abide by all applicable laws and these Terms & Conditions.
